Behind the Blue Paint – Hidden Mold Remediation in Rockford, IL
The room looked fine. Fresh blue paint, no stains, no smell you’d notice walking through. Then we opened the wall.
Mold on the back of the drywall and through the insulation — the kind of growth that comes from a slow leak or condensation inside a wall cavity, where paint hides it until someone gets sick or a home inspector finds it. This Rockford, IL job shows how we handle it: containment so spores don’t spread, removal of everything affected, cleaning and treatment of what stays.
If you can smell it but can’t see it, or you’ve had water in a wall, ceiling or floor and it was “dried out” without being opened, that’s worth a look. Power Restoration of Rockford does mold inspections for $199, credited toward remediation if you hire us. IICRC Certified Firm. Call (815) 721-3493.
